Show Funeral Services honor Ethel E. Neely, 74 . , ... K .'V 'ffi they were engaged in the grocery retail business as owners and operators of Westside Grocery. Prior to moving to Cedar City they resided in Blackfoot, Idaho and had lived in Morgan, Salt Lake City and Ogden. She is survived by a son, Donald Neeley of Price; and tw o daughters, Mrs. Max (Shirley) Cowan and Mrs. Klien (Patsy) Rollo, both of Cedar City. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services were held in the Cedar Fourth Ward and burial was in the Cedar City cemetery under the direction of Spilsbury and Graff Mortuary. Pies. Theron Ashcroft was speaker at the services with a tribute given by Alta Porter. Family prayer was offered by Craig Rollo, the invocation was by Steven Rollo, the benediction by Douglas Wood. Dedication of the grave was by Klien Rollo. Conducting was Bishop George Rhoades. Musical selections included a vocal solo, "Oh, My Father," by Ralph Hafen and a vocal solo, "Abide With Me, 'Tis Eventide," by Christine Winterrose, accompanied ac-companied by Janet Knell. Prelude and postlude music was by Ada Palmer. Ethel E. Neeley Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 18 for Ethel Evelyn Erickson Neeley, 74, who died at the Valley View Medical Center in Cedar City Sunday, Mar. 16 of causes incident to age. She was born June 23, 1900, at Mink Creek, Idaho, a daughter of Peter E. and Sophia Anderson Erickson. She married Herschel Morgan Neeley Oct. 26, 1920 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Sept. 28, 1973. Mrs. Neeley was an active member of the LDS Church having served in many capacities. She had held positions in the Sunday School, MIA and the Relief Society. She was also a member of the Chere Amies and Round Table Clubs. The Neeleys moved to Cedar City in 1936 and for many years |
