Show OES honors officers at March meet By Lelah Wilson Cedar Chapter No. 20, Order of the Eastern Star met for its regular meeting Monday evening, March 10, at the Masonic Temple with Mrs. Winifred Thompson, worthy matron, and Gustin O. Gooding, worthy patron, presiding. Honors were accorded Mrs. Gaye Thurston, Grand Adah, of the Grand Chapter Order of the Eastern Star of Utah. First time visitors Pat Boone, Steadfast Chapter No. 409, Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, and Walter B. Jensen, past patron of Florence Chapter No. 79, Challis Idaho, were escorted and introduced in-troduced by Conductress Neola Brown. They were welcomed by the worthy matron and escorted to seats in the Chapter room. Marjorie Arrowsmith, Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee, reported on the public card party held February 14, and extended her thanks to all who participated in making the evening a success. A social hour was enjoyed following the meeting. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served by Lelah Wilson and Ethel Smith. Tables were decorated in the St. Patrick Day theme. |
