Show NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS CON-TRACTORS FOR PREQUALIF1CATI0N AND PUBLIC MEETING AND FEE BIDDING The Utah State Building Board will advertise to prequalified Contractors on September 14, 1977, for Sealed Fee Bids to be submitted sub-mitted on October 4, 1977, for the General Contractor's contract to construct a new Patient Care Hospital at the University of Utah Medical Center, Salt Lake City, Utah. It is required that General Contractors who intend to submit Fee Bids for the and experience, personnel, construction experience, and other factors considered to be relevant by the Board. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all responses and fee bids and to waive any technicalities in those received. Glen R. Those who will seek to prequalify for the fee bidding bid-ding are invited to attend a meeting to be held at 2:00 p.m., August 30, 1977, in the Auditorium of the Utah State Office Building, Salt Lake City, Utah, at which time the Prequalification Documents will be issued, the prequalification and fee bidding procedures explained, ex-plained, and questions answered. an-swered. Each prospective bidder must submit the prequalification information on or before 2:00 p.m., MDT, September 8, 1977, in Room 124 in the Utah State Capitol Building, Salt Lake City, Utah, in order to prequalify for subsequent fee bidding. Fee Bidding Documents will be v issued only to prequalified General Contractors Con-tractors on September 14, 1977, at the office of the Utah State Building Board, 124 State Capitol Building, Salt Lake City, Utah. Following an evaluation of the prequalification responses, those General Contractors who successfully suc-cessfully qualify will be notified and invited to submit Sealed Fee Bids. Those bids will be received by Glen R. Swenson, Director, Utah State Building Board, until 2:00 P.m., MDT. October 4, 1977, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Governor's Board Room of the Utah State Capitol Buulding, Salt Lake City, Utah for: PROJECT NO. 1 - PATIENT CARE HOSPITAL UNIVERSITY OF UTAH MEDICAL CENTER EXPANSION EX-PANSION in accordance with preliminary drawings and outline specifications therefor and such addenda as may be issued prior to the date of bid opening, all as prepared by: GUSTAVSON, NELSON AND PANUSHKA, INC., ARCHITECTS-PLANNERS-INTERIOR DESIGNERS under the direction of DEAN L. GUSTAVSON, MANAGING ARCHITECT, UNIT-VERSITY UNIT-VERSITY OF UTAH MEDICAL CENTER EXPANSION. EX-PANSION. Proposals from prequalified General Contractors Con-tractors will be entertained only on the basis of percentage per-centage fee bids and other factors following the Early Delivery System (EDS) as set forth in the Instruction to Bidders which will be issued with the Fee Bidding Documents. Construction by the successful General Con-. Con-. tractor shall include all work necessary for the completion of and ready for occupancy of an ejght story fire resistant, seismic resistant, air-conditioned, concrete and steel framed hospital building with concrete floors, and including the .usual. patient rooms, laboratories and offices, as the first phase of construction: con-struction: and joining the existing hospital facility.
