Show H.Neill Peterson, dies at Hospital; honored at services - i 1! 4"4p ii f r. - " i XL .Ad Harry Noill Peterson, age 73, of 84 South 400 East, Cedar City, died at the Valley View Medical Center Monday August 22, 1977. Mr. Peterson was born May 4, 1904 in Richfield, Utah to Lars Christian and Isabelle Muir Peterson. On November 24, 1925 he married his sweetheart Theresa Maxwell in the St. George Temple. To this marriage was born five children. Mr. Peterson was very active in the LDS Church. He served on the Cedar Stake Genealogical Committee and also the Stake Missionary Program. Mr. Peterson was an oificiator at the St. George Temple for the last nineteen and a half years. He served as counselor coun-selor in the First Ward Bishopric, in the Stake High Priest Presidency and manv other positions in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Survivors include his wife Theresa of Cedar, one son and four daughters; Charles Neill Peterson of Kanab. Mrs. Elda Downie of Upland, California, Mrs. Clemont (Beverly) Nielsen of Cedar City, Mrs. Melvin (Dianne) Wilkey of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Cheryl Smith of Salt Lake City. Fifteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, two brothers and one sister; Ray L. Peterson of Heber, Clarence G. of Hunter and Mrs. Af ton (Ila) Johnson of Hurricane. Funeral services will be held Thursday August 25, 1977 at 1 p.m. in the Cedar 12th LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Raymond Baker conducting. Friends may call at the Boyer Southern II. NEILL PETERSON t Utah Mortuary Wednesday evening from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 11:30 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be in the Cedar City Cemetery under the direction of Boyer Southern Utah Mortuary. |
