Show DWR presents Safety Course The Utah State Division of Wildlife Resources and Cedar City hunter education instructor, Don Snyder, has announced the formation of another series of hunter education classes to begin Monday, August 22. Classes will be held in the Court Room of the City-County City-County Building beginning at 5:30 p.m. and lasting until 8:30 p.m. The course will consist of five consecutive ; evenings of instruction. Utah law requires all hunters under the age of 21 to pass a hunter education course before obtaining a hunting license. Hunter education classes consist of both classroom study and practical field safety instruction. in-struction. Students must pass tests on knowledge and shooting safety. Upon completion of the course the instructor issues a "blue card" which serves as evidence of satisfactory performance in the course. This card must be shown in order to purchase a license. Interested persons may register during the first class session. Registration fee is $2.00. |
