Show Kevin Griffiths, Sherrily Lyn Bowlden married in Manti Temple ceremonies -way ' f ri La '( 1- The marriage of Sherrily Lyn Bowlden to Kevin Griffiths is announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James A. Bowlden of Salt Lake City. The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Paul Griffiths. The couple exchanged vows in a ceremony performed per-formed at the Manti LDS Temple, Friday, August 12. The double ring ceremony was performed by President June Black. A reception was held that evening to honor the newly weds at the Country Manor Reception Center in Salt Lake City. An open house was held the following evening at the home of Ronella Griffiths in Beaver. The new Mrs. Griffiths is a graduate of Cottonwood High School where she was very active in theatre, gymnastics, and track. She has been attending Southern ' Utah State College for the past four years with a major in Theatre Arts and a minor in Executive Secretary. She has served as a studentbody officer for three years and has had parts in several of MR, AND MRS. KKVIN GRIFFITHS the theatre productions. Mrs. Griffiths has been teaching gymnastics for the past year in Cedar City and assisted in the summer gymnastic program at the school. Kevin graduated from Beaver High School where he was active in sports and student government. He was also a member of the band. He has served in the California South Mission for the LDS Church and has attended SUSC for the past four years. At SUSC he has been active in Student Government, Circle K and is a member of Tau Beta Sigma Fraternity. He will student teach at Beaver High this fall and graduate from SUSC this spring with a major in Chemistry. The couple honeymooned in Las Vegas and Zion National Park. The couple will make their home in Cedar City. |
