Show .ur.v. J: , a , I r Pi w 1 Wards called to New Zealand PAROWAN Mr. and Mrs. M. Howard Ward, members of the Fa rowan Third Ward, have been called to serve a New Zealand Temple mission for the LDS Church. The couple expects to leave by plane from Salt Lake City approximately September 12th or as soon as the necessary visas have been processed. Both Mr. and Mrs. Ward have been very active in a variety of positions in both ward and stake. Mr. Ward has served as a member of the bishopric, on the stake high council twice, as stake maintenance supervisor, and so forth. Mrs. Ward has worked in all of the auxiliaries, including in-cluding in the Relief Society presidency and was recently released as Ward Meeting House Librarian. The two returned home in April of 1974 after serving 21 a years in the Tonga Mission on a building assignment. Mr. MR. AND MRS. HOWARD WARD Ward, who is a plumber and electrician, also was acting maintenance supervisor at the Idaho Falls Temple for several months. The couple are the parents of four children, who will be on hand to see them off. They are: Mrs. William (Marilyn) McKinley, Mrs. James (Jackie) Miller, Gerald and Michael Ward, They have 10 grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Ward will speak in sacrament meeting on Sunday in the Parowan Third Ward. |
