Show Hugh Asa Farnsworth, 77 dies in San Diego; Services held Hugh Asa Farns'vorth 77, died Jan. 21, 1976 in the Veterans Hospital in San Diego, Calif, from complications following surgery. He was born Aug. 4, 1898 Joseph (Gretta) Miller, Lehi. Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 26, 2976 at 2 p.m. in the Parowan Second LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Rodney Adams conducting. The family prayer was offered by Robert Val Henrie with Marie Adams playing the prelude, postlude music and Joseph Ridley giving the invocation. Hugh James Farnsworth and Gordon Farnsworth were the speakers with remarks by Bishop Rodney Adams. A vocal Duet "Beyond the Sunset" was sung by Rula Orton and Mary Dawn Dalton. The benediction was given by Glade Smith and Howard Joseph dedicated the grave. Military graveside services ser-vices were presented by the American Legion. Interment was in the Paragonah Cemetery under the direction of the Spilsbury & Graff Mortuary. i in Pacheco, Mexico to Austin Martindale and Agatha Ann Lee Farnsworth. He married Araminta Goulding March 26, 1898 in I unction, Utah and the marriage t as later solomnized in the St. George Temple. Mr. Farnsworth is survived by his wife of Parowan, 3 sons and 2 daughters Hugh James of San Diego, Calif. ; Gordon of Parowan, Kenneth Rae of Ocean Springs, Miss.; Mrs. Richard (Dora Mae) Bronson of Price, and Mrs1. Joseph (Ann) Giacalone of Chula Vista, Calif r : Also surviving are 24 grandchildren grand-children and , 13 great gran-children gran-children and three sisters; Nora Farnsworth of American Fork; Ina Cook, Tooele, and Mrs. |
