Mrs. Gwen Jones and others w ere to Parowan on Sun to attend the missionary testimonial for Gwen's grandson, Karl Bentley who is going on a mission to Belgium. Mrs. Jones visited afterward at the Rodney Bentley home where dinner was served to a large crowd of relatives. The Ward Merrie Miss girls entertained their father's at the annual Primary Daddy-Daughter Daddy-Daughter Party at the Ward Cultural Hall on Wed. evening. A Bi-Centennial . theme was used in the decorations and a ham dinner was served followed by games and dancing. Nine girls and the fathers were present as well as four leaders. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Robinson were to Cedar City on Fri. to see the latest addition to their family, a seven pound, eleven oz. boy born to Mr. and Mrs. Steven Edwards on Thurs. This makes 11 great grandchildren for Chester and Irene. Mrs. Alda Robinson was in Cedar City from Wed. to Fri. to visit with family members. She stayed with the David Skougaard ' family. Mr. Eddie Bettinson of Salt Lake City was in town recently to visit with Mrs. Melva Barton. He also called on Mrs. Alice Robinson at the Rest Home in Parowan. Mr. Arch Fotheringham is back again with the Lagrande Robb family after a few days in By Hilma Lamoreaux Mrs. Idella Robinson left for Spring City on Friday to spend the w eekend with her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Mickel. She went to help celebrate Mrs. Mickel's birthday. bir-thday. Mrs. Nina Robb enjoyed a pleasant day on Wed. as she traveled to Provo for a day in the Temple to see her granddaughter grand-daughter Carlene and her husband David Holm and their two little children sealed as a family. The Holms live in Dugway And Carlene's parents Mr. aidMrs. Kelly Dalton of Cedar City and Mrs. Robb met them in Provo for the occasion. They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Frank Davis of Parowan. Mr. and Mrs. Heber Lund and family of Cedar City were Sun. visitors here with Heber's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Lund Mr. and Mrs. Orlo Topham, traveled to Marysvale on Sun. Jan. 18th to visit with Irene's brother Carl Norton and his wife. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Martin of Calif, arrived here on Sat. to spend a few weeks at their vacation home.- |
