Max Hendersons to Co-chairmen "Spirit of 76 Art Festival" will be entered. Very careful security will be in force during the Festival so family treasures will be safe. Everyone has special skills and talents. This art festival will give everyone a chance to display their particular talents. A salute to the Bicentennial this community program will be the featured event for March and a tribute to all those who v.ork with their hands making beautiful things for others to enjoy. PAROWAN - Mi and Mrs. Max Hendrickson will serve as co-chairman for "Spirit of 76, Parowan Art Festival" to be held March , 12, and 13th in the basement of the New Iron County Courthouse. This festival will feature a large number of displays with entries in many different catagories. Beautiful pieces of art from oil painting, to wood and rock works, will be entered by Southern Utah residents for the enjoyment of the public. Anyone who wishes to enter items in this festival should be preparing now. Departments will include oils, other art mediums, quilts, embroidery, crochet and knitting, leather, floral arrangements, ceramics, sewing, photography, home arts, weaving, beads, whittling collections, inventions, period furniture and Heritage Arts. There will also be a section for Elementary art. Items to be entered need not be newly made. It is hoped that many crafts and family antiques
