Show NEW CASTLE NEWS Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Harri-1 son traveled to Prov0 where they attended funeral services for James Claud Knell. Mr. Knell was a former resident of Pinto and New Castle and one of the first settlers of this area. Mrs. Lois Adams of Enterprise Enter-prise visited last week at the home of the Boyd Christensen family. President Theron Ashcroft of the St. George Temple Presidency Presi-dency was the guest speaker last Sunday at three special meetings; a fireside at 6 p.m. for the young people in the Mrs. Norma Christensen Recent visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Holland were three of Tom's sisters: Mrs. Shirley Martin and Mrs. Edith Northup, both cf San Diego, Calif., and Mrs. Hazel Luking of Las Vegas. Mrs. Ruth Christian of Pi-oche, Pi-oche, Nev. visited last week at the home of Mrs. Mary Tul-lis. Tul-lis. Mr. and Mrs. Gary (Beverly) Evans and family from Las Vegas, were weekend visitors at the home of their folks, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Christensen. ' Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Lind-horst Lind-horst of Glendale, Calif, were up for a weekend visit. They have a home here in town. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Cox traveled trav-eled to Los Alamos, N. M. last week where they visited with Jim's daughter and her family, fami-ly, Mr. and Mrs. Bart Alinger. They also visited in Scottsdale, Ariz, with Jim's son and his wara; a meeting at ( p.m. ior the married couples in the ward; and a Temple project class at 8 p.m. James Allen Cox of Cedar City, and son of Jim Cox, has been chosen for the second consecutive year to appear in the Who's Who in American Colleges.
