CHARLES DAVID HARRIS Church wedding ceremony unites Dianna Stubbs and Charles Harris A dougle " ring wedding ceremony which took place in the cultural hall of the Third Ward church on Saturday evening, eve-ning, April 22 united Miss Di-anna Di-anna Stubbs and Mr, Charles David Harris, as man and wife. The wedding rites took place at 6 p. m. with Bishop Stephen Adams officiating in the rites in the presence of members of the families and friends of the young couple. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bobbie M. Stubbs and the bridegroom is a son-of son-of Mr. and Mrs. Richard T. Harris, all of Parowan.. The cultural hall was also the setting for a reception in honor of the young couple, held from 8 to 10 p. m, that evening. For the event the new bride was lovely in a gown of empire design with fitted bodice bo-dice and sleeves of Chantilly lace. A tapered, yet full skirt of bridal satin overlaid with a sheer peau desaire was ap-pliqued ap-pliqued with wide matching lace that circled the floor length gown and long butterfly butter-fly train. Seed pearls compll- They honeymooned in St George and southern Utah and have returned . to Parowan where they plan to make their home. . ' Assisting during the reception recep-tion were the following:-cousins, of the bride, Susan Bess, Dinah Stubbs, Wendy Stubbs, Tammy Stubbs, Paula Stubbs, did the serving. Assisting with the refreshments were other friends and relatives. The wedding bake was made and decorated by Andrea Harris, a steter-in-law of, the bridegroom. bride-groom. Background organ music mu-sic was by Lillis Spencer and ClairAlice Stubbs. At the gift table were Anna Mecham, Beverly Carter, Sheri Guffey, Janice Benson; at the gift book were Christine Harris Har-ris and Ginette Bott and presiding pre-siding at the punch bowl were Geraldine Rollins and Sue Bess. A buffet dinner was served at 3 p. m. Saturday to all members of the wedding party par-ty and relatives at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Richard T. Harris, parents of the bride groom. mented the pleated yoke and edge around the neck and sleeves. A finger tip veil of illusion il-lusion fell from a matching crown of lace and pearls. The bridal bouquet was a colonial cascade shaped bouquet bou-quet of sweetheart roses, star burst mums, stephanotis and baby breath. Maid of honor was Paula Lemmon, Las Vegas, bridesmaids brides-maids were Becky Harris, Cindy Cin-dy Rollins, Linda Sturdevant, and Jill Rhodes, also of Las Vegas. They carried white velvet vel-vet and lace kissing balls, filled fil-led with matching shades of cascading spring flowers. Char-lane Char-lane Mecham was flower girl. Best men were Michael Stubbs, brother of the bride, and Larry Pendleton. Ushers were James Harris, David Chamberlain, Phillip Burt, Mark Rollins,, Jeff Stubbs and Brad Rhodes. For her going away costume cos-tume the bride wore a spring floral dress of polyester in pink, lavender and blue colors. The bride Is a senior at Parowan High School and is planning to graduate with her class this month. The bride-I bride-I groom is a graduate of Parowan Paro-wan High, where he was active ac-tive in athletics and was an all state football player. He is now employed in construction construc-tion by the Color Country Construction Co. Guests attending from out of town were Ray E. and Mon-tey Mon-tey Harris, grandparents of the bridegroom; Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Harris Michael Stubbs, Mr. and Mrs. Neal (Bud) Rhodes and family, Las Vegas, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Stubbs, and daughters Tammy and Paula of Kearns, Mrs. Sue Bess and daughter Susan, Kearns, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Spencer, La-Verkin; La-Verkin; Mr and Mrs. Spencer Lemmon and daughter Paula, Las Vegas; Mrs. Robin Perry Mrs1.
