Show Family and citizens pay tribute to Marcus L Guymon Funeral services were held in the Parowan Third Ward chapel last Wednesday at 1 p. m. for Marcus L. Guymon, who Dassed awav last week in California where he was residing with his daughter The services were conducted by Bishop Val Hyatt Bentley with Itha Mortensen at the organ for prelude and post-lude post-lude music. Speakers were Karl 0. Mitchell, Mit-chell, with a tribute written by his sister Eleanor Bruhn, being read by Vee Bruhn. Jess Guymon, a brother, offered of-fered the family prayer; the invocation was by Don Cart-wright, Cart-wright, the benediction was offered by Elroy Bryant and the grave in the city cemetery ceme-tery was dedicated by Frank Mortensen. Musical numbers were a song by a vocal trio, "Abide With Me", consisting of Rose Elise Gurr, Darlene Pendleton Pendle-ton and Jackie Robinson, with Barbara Batt as accompanist, and a vocal medley by Bill Bruhn, "Red River Valley" and "Home on the Range. He was accompanied by Beth Hurst. Pallbearers were Keith Guy-man, Guy-man, Guy Getz, Max Getz, Leon Guymon, John H. Hen-rie Hen-rie and Wayne Mack Guymon. Flowers were carried by the nieces. Marcus L. Guymon was married mar-ried to Minerva Norton on Nov. 3, 1913. She died and he later married Olive Mortensen Morten-sen Carroll, who also preceded him in death.. Brothers surviving are Brose Jess and Ross Guymon, Parowan, Paro-wan, and a sister, Eleaner G. Bruhn, St. George. Others were Mr. and Mrs. Lois Shields and children, Preston, Idaho; Mr and Mrs. Leon Guymon and family, Kaysville; Mr. and Mrs. John M. Henrie, Pang- uitch. Mr. and Mrs. Vee Bruhn, of Panguitch; Mr. and Mrs. Bill Bruhn, Bountiful; Mrs. Beth Hurst, St. George; Mr. and Mrs. Keith Guymon, Mr. and Mrs. Max (Merna) Getz, Cedar City; Mrs. Joyce G.
