President Rowley is a holder of ' the coveted Silver Beaver award, and is recognized recog-nized as a great scouter in the Brian Head District. He served as district chairman for several sever-al years, and the scouting program pro-gram advanced to new heights under his leadership.. He was given a seat on the stand and was called on to speak briefly. The next court of honor was scheduled for 8 p. m. Sunday, May 28, 1972 in the Summit Ward chapel. CRAIG WHITE A District Boy Scout Court of Honor was heid in the Enoch Ward chapel Sunday evening, April 30 for the scouts of the Brian Head District. Enoch Troop 33G hosted the court and sponsored the opening and closing exercises with Scoutmaster Scout-master DeWayne Alger offering offer-ing the opening prayer and scout Edmond (Eddie) Alger offering the benediction. The court was conducted by I President Newel F. Wasden, district chairman. Scouts from four troops received honors at the court with top honors going go-ing to Craig White of the Summit Ward Troop 344 who was presented with his Eagle badge. Craig is a son of Dee and Shirley R. White Craig's six brothers and sisters, sis-ters, his grandmother Mrs. Revere Re-vere Robinson, and many of his friends were in attendance to witness the special presentation. presen-tation. The Eagle Court was conducted by the Summit MIA Superintendent, Fred Whicker, Whick-er, assisted by LeRay Reese, scoutmaster and two Eagle Scouts, Keith Lawrence and Mark Dalley. Bishop, De- los Dalton presented the award. The scout trail to the Eagle was presented using slides with a tape recording of scout voices. Craig enjoys camping and loves the great out-doors. New interests were found as he met the challenge of 21 merit badges. Other presentations made at the court include: Enoch Troop 336, Joseph Barton, Bar-ton, 2nd class, Paul Sherratt and Kay Sherratt, 1st class. Summit Troop 344: Chad Hu-let, Hu-let, 2nd class; Steven Stapley and Craig White, merit bodges, bod-ges, Parowan First Troop 341: Michael Robinson, 2nd class; Tracy Adams, David Warner and Danny Calloway, merit badges. Parowan Second, Troop 349: Danny Packwood, 1st class; Mark Joseph, Brad Robinson, and Russell Tullis, merit badges. bad-ges. Several boys in the Parowan Third Ward Troop 343 had earned merit badges and rank advancements, but they had failed to arrive in time for presentation at the Sunday court.
