Richards of Las Vegas, Nev. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. William E. Humphrey Hum-phrey of Cedar City. An early June wedding is planned in the St. George LDS Temple. The couple will be honored with a reception in Las Vegas and an open house in Cedar City. The bride-to-lbe is a native of Las Vegas. She received all her early education and for three years and completed a two-year mission for the LDS Church in the West Central States. He attended Southern Utah State College and the University of Utah Where he received his BS degree In business bus-iness administration. Humphrey is currently employed em-ployed in Las Vegas as an accountant. ac-countant. He holds membership member-ship in Delta Kappa Fraternity Fratern-ity and has been serving as area chairman for the two regions re-gions of the LDS M-Men and Gleaner programs in the Las Vegas area. The couiple will make their home in Las Vegas. graduated with honors from Las Vegas High School. She received re-ceived a scholarship to Brigham Brig-ham Young University and received re-ceived her BS degree in Teacher Teach-er Education from the BYU. She also took post graduate study at BYU studying home economics. On campus she served as Relief Society secretary secre-tary and was a member of the Releif Society Presidency. She has attended summer sessions at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff where she is a graduate student. For the past year she has been teaching fifth grade at the Cyril Wengert Elementary School. The future bridegroom graduated grad-uated from Cedar High School. He served in the armed forces |
