Show Carl It. Munford buried with full Military honors Impressive funeral services were held Wednesday of last week for Carl R. Munford, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Munford Mun-ford and a member of the U. S. Armed Forces. Munford died in a Seattle Army hospital on April 22. The services were held in the First Ward chapel with Bishop Stephen R. Adams conducting, with Military rites conducted by an honor guard of U. S. Servicemen, here for the rites.. Bryce Taylor and daughter; of Salt Lake City Mr. and Mrs. Richard G. Rowley, Salt Lake City. From Beaver were Mr. and Mrs. Larry Davis and family, fa-mily, Mr. and Mrs. Mont Bet-tridge Bet-tridge and Mr. and Mrs. Chal-mer Chal-mer Davis Also Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Christensen, Kanarra, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert C. Munford and Mr. and Mrs. Warren Munford, Cedar City. I Speakers were Claude Adams a teacher of Munford while in high school, and Richard L. Rowley with remarks by Bishop Bish-op Adams. The family prayer was by LaMont Bettridge; the invocation by Gordon Bait,, benediction by Kenneth Rowley Row-ley and the grave in the city cemetery was dedicated by George F. Rowley., ,( . - Musical numbers were a vocal vo-cal trio: "Sometime We'll Understand," Un-derstand," by Jackie Robinson, Darlene Pendleton and Rose Elise Gurr, accompanied by Barbara Batt; a vocal solo, "The Green Hills of Home", by Dewey Topham, accompanied accompan-ied by Itha Mortensen, and a vocal solo, "That Beautiful Isle of Somewhere," by Sharon Potter, Pot-ter, accompanied by her husband, hus-band, Scott Potter. Pallbearers were six men from the Armed Services and the firing squad was six more servicemen, all here for the occasion. Flowers were carried by cousins cou-sins and nieces.
