During this time Ruth took Irene's wife Pat to Las Vegas ivhere she flew to Fort Sill, 3klahoma to attend Gene's graduation exercises, from a iiine month Advanced Officers school. Gene and his wife returned re-turned to Utah together and after a short visit here returned re-turned home to Delta. Mr. Blaney Barton of Philadelphia, Phila-delphia, Penn. and Mr. Ray Parker of Salt Lake City spent i day here recently with relatives, re-latives, Mrs. J. Lowe Barton and her son. Harold Edwards was here from Milford recently to spend a day helping his sister, Miss Glayds Edwards. Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Roundy cif Calif, arrived here on Monday Mon-day for a visit with Arleanes' brothers, Bill and Homer. Steven Halvorsen left for Logan on Monday to make preparations to move his family fam-ily there. Gayle and the baby and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Lund are going later this week. , " Mr. and Mrs. Errol Lamor-eaux Lamor-eaux traveled to Salt Lake City on Wednesday to visit with their son Clyde and his family. They also visited in Layton with the Donald Burton Bur-ton family. I Mrs. Ila Williamson and daughter, VieAnn traveled to Salt Lake City on Wednesday of last week to see William, who was in the Veterans Hospital. Hos-pital. They also visited with Mrs. May Sant. William returned re-turned home on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Kay Tcip-ham Tcip-ham and small son returned to Calif, last week after .being .be-ing here on leave for a time. Mrs. Leah Jean Boardman was released from the Valley View Medical Center on Thursday Thurs-day but is still in very poor health. A number of relatives were to Beaver on Friday evening to attend the wedding reception for Lois Wallbeck and Craig Wilden. They were, Mr. and Mrs. John Dalton, Mts. Lula Bastian, Sadie and Helen Stones, Mrs. Ila Williamson and Mr. and Mrs. H Revere Robinson. The later were ac-commanied ac-commanied by Mr. and Mrs. Leigh Wade. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Cutler and children traveled to Kan-ab Kan-ab on Sunday to attend a family reunion at the home of Sam's mother, Mrs. Cortella Cutler. Mr. William T. Davenport has received word oif the arrival ar-rival o" another preat grand child. A little girl was born last week to Ralph and Dana Rao Anderson of Fort Ord, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Lund enjoyed having fam'ily together togeth-er on Sunday to celebrate Wilson's birthday which came later in the week. Gayle and her family were already here visiting and Mr. and Mrs. 3. Lamarr Smith and the Heber Lund family came from Cedar City, Mrs. Hannah Robinson was happy to have her brother, Ivor Clove, of Enterprise visit with her on Saturday. He was accompanied by his son George of Hurricane. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Lister and children of Washington were Sunday visitors here with the John R. Lister family. The Paragonah Ward Cultural Cul-tural Hall was the scene of a large gathering of MIA people peo-ple on Wednesday evening of last week when the Stake chorus members and .their leaders and partners were together to-gether for a fine bam dinner and an evening of fun. Over 50 people were present and all six Stakes were represented. |
