Show Funeral Services honor J. Corlett Simkins Funeral services were held Saturday in Carson City, Nevada Ne-vada for James Corlett Sim-kins, Sim-kins, 73, a native of Cedar City who died at Manhattan, Nev. on June 9, of natural causes. Mr. Simkins was born In Ce-dar Ce-dar City on Nov. 30, 1896, a son of James and Margaret Corlett Simkins, and lived her.9 for many years, and was ,( associated with his step-fath-er, Joseph A. Kopp, at Kopp Garage, now Tarkway Ford.". He was a retired Pacific Telephone Tele-phone Co. employee, San Die- , go, Calif., having worked for the firm for 32 years, He was a veteran of World War I. Survivors include a son, James C, Jr., who is stationed with the armed forces in Germany; Ger-many; sisters, Mrs. Catherine Crosley, Sacramento, Calif.; Mrs. Nola S. Reed, Salt Lake City; a half-sister, Marie Kopp, Salt Lake City, and a half-brother, half-brother, Frank Kopp, Honolulu, Honolu-lu, Hawaii. |
