Show SUSC offers special geology course at summer school A course in Geology of the Colorado Plateau will begin at Southern Utah State College. Monday, June 23, it was announced an-nounced by Dr. McKay Clow-ard, Clow-ard, dean of the SUSC School of Continuing Education. Taught by Professor Laurence Laur-ence C. Cooper of the SUSC Geology Department, the course has been one of the most popular summer school offerings for a number of years. Tlve two week study-travel course will include a 1650 mile trip through southern Utah and northern Arizona to observe ob-serve the minerals, sedimentary sedimen-tary rocks, igneous rocks, and metamorphic rocks of the Colorado Col-orado Plateau. j The course offers four hours credit. A fee of $G6 will cover cov-er travel and food furnished by the college, Dr. Cloward said. Registration is $10, with $5 additional for each credit hour.
