Show Utah Laws Require Installations by Licensed Plumbers Floy W. McGinn, director of the Department of Registration Registra-tion for the State of Utah, has issued a reminder to inspectors inspect-ors and to property owners throughout the state of laws pertaining to , restriction of plumbing installations to those holding a proper license. In a communique to State Inspector Ross Glass of Cedar City, McGinn stated that "from now on, any installation work such as sewers, water service lines on the premises or soft water units or other appliance units that require plumbing, as defined by the Utah law, must be done by licensed plumbers." He further pointed out that the department has been advised by the Office of the Attorney General to "uniformly "uniform-ly enforce the law as it is written." He has called on all enforcement enforce-ment agencies of the state, to cooperate in the matter. "We realize," he said, "that it will result in changing some past procedures and will result in hardships on those persons who are atfempting to follow the law and this . . . should not be," he concluded |
