Lamar Smith. The family of Mr. and Mrs. George A. Topham had an evening even-ing get-together at the Topham home Nov. 27 in honor of Mr. Topham's birthday. Twenty-foui birthday. Twenty-four family members attended including the Lyman Dodge, McLean Simkins, and Waldo Topham famlies of Cedar City, the Fred Tophams of Parowan and the Kenneth G. Tophams of Paragonah. They enjoyed an evening of visiting and refreshments. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Maxwell of Salt Lake City were Sunday visitors at the Wilson Lund home. Mr. Maxwell is Mrs. Lund's nephew. Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Anderson of Cedar City were Saturday evening visitors at the James H. Anderson home. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph D. Benson and three daughters of Beaver and Mr. and Mrs. Duane Lam-oreaux Lam-oreaux and son, Adam, of Cedar City were Sunday visitors at the Joe Lamoreaux home. The Ronald Robinson children of Parowan spent Saturday here with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Robinson. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Lund enjoyed en-joyed having Koene's brother and sister-in-law, Mr. ami Mrs. James Maxwell here with them from Glondalo and also Mr. and Mrs. J. Lamar Smith of Cedar City Mr. and Mrs. Earl Thornton had their son-in-law and daughter, daugh-ter, Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Clark and their children of Cedar City and son, Hoed, and his family of Parowan with them for the Thanksgiving holiday. Mr. and Mrs. George A. Topham Top-ham and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Topham and son, Lee Alien, traveled tra-veled to Parowan to spend Thanksgiving with the Fred Topham Top-ham family. Some family members mem-bers from Cedar City joined the group there. The December meeting of the Betsy Topham Camp of the DUP will be held December 15 at the home of Mrs. Bertha S. Topham. Time of the meeting is 2 p. m. and there will be a Christmas party and gift exchange held with it. All ladies of the Community Com-munity are invited to be present. Mrs. Mary Bryant has the honor of being a member of the orchestra that is rehearsing for the annual presentation of the "Messiah" in Cedar City. Mitchell Robinson was here from Cedar City Saturday to spend the day with his grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Robinson. Mr. and Mrs. H. Revere Robinson, Rob-inson, Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Edwards Ed-wards and Miss Nancy Robinson traveled to Tooele and Salt Lake City Friday. The Robinsons took Mr. and Mrs. Edwards to spend a few days with a sister, Mrs. Thelma Wood before leaving by air for Portland, Ore. to spend the' holidays with their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Edwards. In fact Mr. and Mrs. Edwards plan to be away for the entire winter. They expect to spend some time in ' California with family members and may fly to Louisiana before be-fore Spring. Mr. and Mrs. Robinson and Nancy spent the Week end in Tooele with the Gordon Man-zione Man-zione family and returned home Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Carlyle Mitchell, daughter Carla Jo and grandchildren, grand-children, Mark and Todd Green, of Cedar City were Sunday visitors visit-ors at the D. Amasa Stones home. Mr. and Mrs. Alan Stones and children of Parowan joined them. Tom Jones went to Henderson, and Las Vegas, Nev. for the week |
