Show ' $2 Million Allocated ! To Utah for Educational Needs Washington, D. C: The U. S. Office of Education has allocat- ed over $2 million to Utah for programs for educationally deprived de-prived children. The estimated grants, made under Title 1 of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965, specifies $2,622,319 for programs pro-grams for children from low-income families, handicapped children and foster children. Grants totaling $11,339 have been allocated for neglected children and juvenile delin- ' quents. Programs for migratory children have been allocated $20,938. Last year, Title I funds en- ;. abled school district throughout the Nation to concentrate a wide range of individualized services on educationally deprived children child-ren in low-income areas.
