Show Cedar City Couple I To Celebrate 50th Anniversary Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Bernard F. Leigh, life-long residents of Cedar City, will celebrate their Golden Wedding Wed-ding Anniversary Saturday, Dec. 10. Althoug the family is planning no special activities friends are invited to call at their home during dur-ing the afternoon hours at 137 North 200 West. The Cedar City couple were married in Parowan in December, 1916 and have spent their entire life in this community. They have five children, including in-cluding Forrest, Yakima, Washington; Wash-ington; Mrs. Frank (Elaine) Jor-don, Jor-don, Denver, Colo, and Stewart, George and Mrs. Kenneth (Mary Louise) Talbot, all of Salt Lake City. They also have 10 grandchildren. grand-children. Mr. Leigh was employed by the Columbia Iron Mining Company until his retirement in March. 1962 at the age of 70 years. Mrs. Leigh has been active in the LDS Church, serving in various offices of the Relief Society So-ciety and Primary Auxiliary organizations. or-ganizations. Both were students at the Branch Normal School, now College Col-lege of Southern Utah. |
