Show Graveside Services Held in Paragonah Tor Evan M. Edwards lif Kilma Lamoreaux 3rirf graveside services were held In the Parajjonah Cemetery Monday for Evan Morgan Edwards Ed-wards of Delta, who was a former form-er resident of Paragonah. The services consisted of an opening prayer by Ralph Ed wards, a son "Resting Now from Care and Sorrow" by tile choir under the direction of D. Asiuna Stones; a brief talk by Ivan Robb and a dedicatory prayer by Gilbert Gil-bert Barton. Lowe and Ralph Edwards, daughter daug-hter Karen and son, Paul, of Cedar Ce-dar City, traveled to Delta for the funeral and returned here with the funeral cortege. Evan Morgan Edwards was born in Paragonah, May 1, 11H2 to Morgan B. and Margaret Owens Edwards, He attended school in Paragonah and at the Parowan High School. He moved to Delta in 1931 with the family and has made that his home since. He passed away of a heart ailment ail-ment on December 2. Survivors include his mother, Salt Lake City; brothers, Lowell, Leila; Howard and Cordell, Salt ; Lake Cily, and a sister, Mrs. Donna Don-na Vnitcly, Washington, D. C. All were here for the graveside : ; erviccs with members of their families. M.s. Howard Edwards and son remained overnight as guests of i Mrs. Mel, a Barton. ; Mrs. An oi Di- and Ted Barton of Cedar City, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Gil-bert Barton of Parowan and Mr. and Mrs. Ned Forbush of Monroe were among the other relatives j here for the Edwards service. |
