Show I Marriages of Former Residents Announced , An announcement has been made by Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. Kersser of San Diego, Cajif. that on May 18, their daughter, Ora June, will become the bride of Ward Taylor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Taylor of Parowan. The marriage will be solenmn- ; ized In the new Los Angeles L. D. S. temple with Ward's parents par-ents and his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Verl Taylor, j and his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. John Anderson in attendance. J The forthcoming bride has fUl-ed fUl-ed a mission to the Western States and is now an employee at the Walker Dept. store in the coast city. Mr. Taylor has also filled a mission for the L D S church In the Central States and Is a veteran of World War II. He has made his home In San Diego , for several years. I Following the nuptial occasion the newlyweds will be honored at a reception which will be followed fol-lowed by a honeyymoon tour of western parks. They wl.'l make their home In San Diego. The recent marriage of one of Parowan is former residents and the approaching marriage of another an-other former resident of the com-imunity, com-imunity, are of interest to many local people. The marriage of Dr. James Eugene Eu-gene Robinson to Miss Alice Mc-Donnel Mc-Donnel at Caldwell, Kan., took place on April 21 with the mar-rlage mar-rlage ceremony being solemnized by Rev. Hal H. Moran of Win-field, Win-field, Kan., at the Central Chris-tlan Chris-tlan Church at Caldwell, Kan. The new Mrs. Robinson is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. J. F. McDonnel of that city. The bride is a graduate of the SJniversity of Kansas, and was a ormer teacher at Kansas State Teachers College at Emporia. She was also connected with a television tele-vision studio at Hutchinson, Kan. Mr. Robinson is a graduate of Washington University In St Louis and was also a former teacher at Kansas State Teachers Teach-ers College. They will make their home In San Francisco where Mr. Robinson Is engaged In research re-search work at a major hospital. |
