Show Anita Barton McBride Accorded Last Rites Bt Nora Land Impressive funeral services were conducted in Paragonah on April 26 for Mrs. Anita Barton McBride, 61. wife of Albert Roy McBride, life-long resident of Paragonah, who died April 23 in the Iron County hospital. Bishop Victor R. Robinson pre-sided pre-sided and spoke briefly. Prelude and postlude music was by Mrs. Clark Lamoreaux. The choir sang two lumbers with D. Amasa Stones directing and Mrs. Lamoreaux Lam-oreaux at the organ. Speakers were T. A. Robinson and Joseph Greenhalgh of Nephl, with Carmen Car-men E. Topham reading the history his-tory of the life of the deceased. Musical numbers included a vocal vo-cal and violin duet by Mr. and Mrs. SUas Topham, solo, Howard Knleht: solo. David Williams: ladies trio, Ramona Stubb, Elna Stubbs and Shirley Evans; saxophone sax-ophone solo, Hazel Jean Robinson, Robin-son, and vocaj solo, Mrs. Howard Topham. Accompanists for the musical numbers were, respec-tively, respec-tively, Mary Lyman, Marie Adams, Itha Mortensen, and Wil-ma Wil-ma Lamoreaux. Prayers were of-fered of-fered by Gilbert Robinson and Ivan Robb. Prayer at the home was by Bishop Robinson and J. Lowe Barton dedicated the grave at the Paragonah cemetery, with the choir singing "Slumber." A profusion of beautiful floral offerings were carried by grandchildren, grand-children, nieces and nephews of Mrs. McBride under the direction of Mrs. Golda Topham and Mrs. Lynn Mosdell, Albert and Wells Orton, Dick McBride and Garr Johnson. |
