Show SUCCEEDS DON KNIGHT Clair Morris Elected ICEA President at Social Clair Morris, sixth grade instructor in-structor at the East Elementary, was elected as president of the Iron County Education Association Associa-tion at an election party held by the group Thursday evening, April 26. He will succeed Don Knight of the Cedar West Elementary Ele-mentary in that capacity. Other officers elected at the meeting included Thales Brown, Parowan Hieh, first vice president; presi-dent; Don Knight, second vice president; Karma Joseph, Cedar East Elementary, secretary and Claudia Joseph, Cedar North Elementary, treasurer. Outgoing officers in addition to Knight were Jean Hendrlck-son, Hendrlck-son, first vice president; Bernell Evans, second vice president; Ada Carpenter, secretary. The ICEA meeting and social was under the direction of Donna Coolev and was termed verv sue-eessful sue-eessful bv those In attendance. Refreshments were served and in entertaining program was presented. pre-sented. In addition to the election, the ICEA members adopted a new constitution for the association. The new constitution provides for a carryover member on all standing stand-ing committees of the organiza tion to serve from one year to another, and for the presidential nominees to be people who have had past experience as executive board members.
