LETTER TO THE EDITOR Mr. Editor and interested Iron County Pioneers: Commenting upon last week's article by Mrs. Mont Benson may 1 not only add my approval to tier suggestions but futher state hat there is now under consideration consid-eration by officials of the U. S. SAe Company in cooperation MtlXix the Utah pioneers throughout through-out the state and particularly of Iron County, to erect this summer sum-mer a memorlai to the memory f that group of pioneers who Xonned that first Iron Company; built the first furnace (of which 1 have a hand-made replica by Its engineer) and smelted the first Iron west of the Mississippi from which many articles were cast and should be preserved Suere, and not elsewhere. So all those interested in this issue let me ask what is your Ida of the type of memorial you think should be built and where it should be built to the memory rf our noble ancestors who gave so much for us and got so little for their efforts. Send your suggestions sug-gestions and any authentic his- torial information you have to the Record for consideration and any authentic pioneer relic you may have preserved. JM.Z.
