Show j Red Cross Fund Drive j Planned, Canvass Organized Final plans are being made for the annual Red Cross Fund i drive in Purowan, according to IS. M. Clark, chairman, who with I Herta Burton, as finance chairman, chair-man, will head the drive in this comr"4::ity. Tiie city has been divided into I four districts, the first two of j which follow the boundaries of the First and Second wards, with the other two being made by dividing di-viding the Third Ward. Captains have been named for each of the four districts, and they have prepared pre-pared for canvassing their own districts. District captains are Bain Matheson In district one, Barbara Bar-bara Burt In district two, Roberta Rowley in the north half of the Third Ward, and Ruby Orton In the south half of that ward. These people have received the supplies for the drive and are getting them out to canvassers this week In preparation for the "big push" which is to be made on Monday, Mar 4, according to Mr. Clark, who urges all residents resi-dents of the community to contribute con-tribute liberally to this great hu-manitarian hu-manitarian organization. |
