Show Family Attends Funeral of Annie G. Joseph I Members of the Arthur Joseph family were called to Beaver last week by the death of Mr. Joseph's Jos-eph's mother, Mrs. Annie Gunn Joseph, 90, who died at her home there last Thursday. Funeral services ser-vices were held for her on Monday Mon-day in the Beaver First-Third Ward Chapel with a number of people from here in attendance. Mrs. Joseph was born Aug. 26, 1866 at Paragonah, to Thomas and Ann Houghton Gunn. She married John T. Joseph May 15, 1889 in the Mantl L D S temple. Mr. Joseph died in 1939. They lived in Adamsville for many years, moving to Beaver many years ago. She was active member of the L D S Church and taught school j in Adamsville. Surviving are six sons and daughters. Arthur, Parowan; Par-owan; Thomas Minneapolis. Minn.; Mrs. Lizzie Stewart. Mil-ford; Mil-ford; Mrs. Retta Parkinson, Ernest Ern-est G. and Walter S.. all Beaver, and a step son, John S. Joseph, Salt Lake City. Also surviving are 26 grandchildren, 65 greatgrandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one sister, Alice G. White, Beaver. Speakers at the services were Taylor Farnsworth, Beaver, and George Slmklns, Springville. The prayer at the home was by Arth-ur Arth-ur Joseph, the invocation by Bill White, a nephew, the benediction by John Gunn, another nephew, and Howard Joseph, a grandson, dedicated the grave in the Beaver Bea-ver cemetery. |
