Show Richard M. Rowley Departs To Further Study IfT1" "11. ", "H ' ' M , -f-m I RICHARD ROWLEY Dr. Royden C Bratthwaite, director di-rector of the College of Southern Utah, has announced that a year leave of absence has been granted grant-ed to Mr. Richard Rowley for study stu-dy toward a doctorate degree. Mr. Rowley will continue his work at Stanford University, Palo Alto, Calif. In the area of theatre literature. He Joined the CSU staff In 1947 as instructor in English, speech and journalism, and chairman of publicity. At the present time he is associate professor in English and speech. He has directed a number of plays at the college and has had one play published In 1955. Mr. Rowley received his B. S. degree from Brigham Young University Uni-versity In 19-15 and his M. S. degree de-gree from Stanford University In 19.r4. Mrs. Rowley and their four sons will accompany Prof. Rowley Row-ley to the California school.' |
