Show Citizens Vets Against Relinquishing Wood's Ranch Site Iron County citizer.i, particularly particu-larly Cedar City residents, in an opinion poll conducted in connection con-nection with the Iron County Hospital bond Issue Tuesday, voted 757 against and 443 for not turning the Wood's Ranch campground camp-ground site In Cedar Canyon over to the U. S. Forest Service for development. Developing into & highly controversial con-troversial Issue prior to the balloting bal-loting in connection with the bond issues, the Wood's Ranch proposal by the Iron County Commissioners asked whether citizens wanted the county, through the support of civic organizations, or-ganizations, to develop the area or should it be turned to the Forest For-est Service who had Indicated it would develop the campground site. On the basis of the opinion expressed ex-pressed at the polls that the county spearhead the development develop-ment the coui' ty commission will undoubtedly undertake the development of the area with the aid of labor and funds supplied by interested civic organizations and citizens. Cedar City citizens voted quite strongly in favor of keeping the property under the county control. con-trol.
