Show College Animals Draw Top Ram Sale Prices , College of Southern Utah earned earn-ed top sale honors last week at the National Ram Sale in Ogden. Prof. Darrell Matthews reported that CSU rams earned an overall average for the 28 head sold of $200 each. Top pen In the sale was a pen of CSU Suffolk rams that sold for $360 purchased by the Williams Wil-liams Ranches, Norwood, Colo. In the Rambouillet division CSU tied with three others for top pen at $250 accoding to Prof. Matthews. The College flock shared top honors in the white face bred pen with Dr. John Beal of Cedar City. CSU Hampshire stud ram tied for second high sales honors at $450. Prof. Matthews reported that the college will have 38 hed of the same breeding as the Ogden show ready for the Southern Utah Livestock Show Association Ram Sale on Friday, Sept. 4. |
