Miss Cleo Tullis was home last week end visiting her folks, Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Tullis. Cleo is i employed for the summer at Zion National Park. Visiting at the Kay Knell home this past week end were their daughter and the family, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Johnson, and tiny daughter, from Las Vegas, Nev. The Escalante Valley Lions Club entertained their wives last Saturday night at a banquet at the El Escalante Hotel in Cedar City. Those attending from here were Mr. and Mrs. Ru&sell Christensen, Chris-tensen, Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Hu-let, Hu-let, Mr. and J1 Irs. Warren Piatt Mr. and Mrs. Trusten Hart, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Reeve. Lydia Harrison was home for the week end visiting her folks, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Harrison. Lyd'a has been employed at Grar.J Canyon for the summer. Lydm has been chosen as queen to represent Escalante Valley in the Miss Iron County contest. We certainly wish Lydia a lot of luck. Mr. and Mrs. Scott Christensen and three youngsters of Salt Lake City, were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Chris tensen. Mrs. Vivian Knell returned from a vacation trip through) southern California, Oregon and! Washington. She visited her brother bro-ther James K. Wilde in Spokane, Wash. Vivian's sister. Mrs. Carol Harrison ana two daughters, Diane Di-ane and Nancy of Asusa, Calif, leturned to spend a week with the Knell family. |
