Show Heart Attack Fells Visitor At Home of Brother A happy family gathering turned to tragedy Saturday evening eve-ning when William Stewart Petty, Pet-ty, 48, of Las Vegas, Nev., died suddenly at the home of his brother bro-ther Bryant Petty in Cedar City. William was in town to visit with his brother and the two had been fishing together during the day. As they visited in the evening the Nevadan was suddenly stricken and died almost instantly. instant-ly. -Mr. Petty was born In Rock-ville Rock-ville on Dec. 5, 1910, a son of William R. and Mac Ballard Petty. Pet-ty. He married Theone McDonald on Feb. 10, 1933, at Las Vegas. He is survived by the following sons and daughters: Bryant M., Arlin, Stewart Petty, Las Vegas; Mrs. Tony (Kenna) Gillham, Red Fluff. Calif., and Marlene Petty, Las Vezas. . Also surviving are five brothers broth-ers and sisters. Funeral services were held in Las Vegas Wednesday afternoon. |
