John H. Pendleton Clan Convenes For Golden Wedding With all of their children and all but one of their grandchildren present except one, the John H. Pendleton family enjoyed a fine family gathering on Sunday and Monday of this week. Out-of-town members of the family, here for the occasion of their parents' golden wedding, were Mr. and Mrs. John C. Pendleon and family, fam-ily, Whlttier, Calif.; Capt. and Mrs. Freeman Pendleton and family, Tucson, Ariz.; Mr. and Mrs. Gift (Claudia) Foster and family, Kearns, Utah. Also present pres-ent was the Pendleton's first great-grandchild, the infant of Mr. and Mrs. Kent Whitney, of Cedar City. A large number of friends and relatives reaching more than 150, called at the open house in .honor of the Pendletons on Sunday. On Monday the entire family gathered gath-ered for a family dinner and get-together at the family home with a barbecue dinner being served on the lawns at the family fam-ily home. The only member of the group not in attendance was Ralph Adams, son of Mr. and Mrs. Emersan Adams, a member of the U. S. Air Force, who was unable to attend.
