Show I H.S. Concert Choir Performs For Local Kiwanians The high school concert choir under the direction of Wallace Adams made Its first public appearance ap-pearance Monday evening at the regular meeting of the Cedar City Kiwanis Club. The group sang a series of Christmas carols and was enthusiastically en-thusiastically received by the civic organization. Roundins out the program was a Christmas story, told by Pat Gardner, of the high school speech department. Miss Gardner Gard-ner is a recent winner of the annual Voice of Democracy contest. con-test. She is active In school affairs af-fairs and Is president of the Thespian Club at the school. The meeting was the last of the 19T6 year for the Kiwanls Club. Both the Dec. 24 and Dec. 31 meeting have been postponed as they fall on Christmas Eve and Nv Year's Fve. Th? annual Christmas party of the club will be held Friday Fri-day evening at Hotel Fl Eseal- ante in the form of a dinner and I dance. |
