Show I Holiday Activities Load Calendar The Holiday season and Its host of parties, dances and get-togothers get-togothers moved into full swing this week and will continue throughout the season. j Friday, Dec. 14 the schools. College of Southern Utah and the High School, started the events. ev-ents. The High School stag-Its stag-Its annual Christmas Assembly Assem-bly and the CSU held Its Christmas Lighting program. Saturday eevning the 20-40 Dancing Dan-cing Club held its annual Christmas Christ-mas Dance. Friday evening. Doc. 21 the Kiwanls Club will stage its annual an-nual event followed Saturday tvenlng l.y the Rotary Club, both at Motel El Escalante. On Christmas Eve the Elks Lodg will sponsor a teen age dancv at the High School and on Christmas night the Elks will stage their annual Christmas dance. The Lions Club has slated its annua! party on Saturday, Dec. 29 between the Christmas and New Year's celebration and an the 31st New Year's Eve four important dances and celebrations celebra-tions will be staged. The Cedar City Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual New Year's Eve Banquet and Dance at Hotel El Escalante. At that time the new officers of the organization will be announced. The Elks will also stage their New Year's Eve party at the lodge hall and the American Legion Le-gion will sponsor a public dance that evening at the College of Southern Utah ballroom. The same evening the Elks will sponsor a dance for teen-agers to be staged at the High School gymnasium. In addition to these many clubs, groups and neighborhood! get-togethers will be held throughout the holiday season. |
