Show Permanent Guidance Organization To Continue Program A permanent Southern Utah Guidance Clinic was organized at a meeting in Cedar City Monday, Mon-day, as the result of the success of the activities In the program over the past two years. Started out as a child guldanoe service, the program has been expanded to Include guidance service to adults as well as children so that the named of the organization has been set up as "The South-ern South-ern Utah Guidance Clinic." Guidance experts from the state depart-. ment and the university make periodic visits to the area, giving the services without charge, while the counties meet all expenses ex-penses Incurred In the program, Including travel expenses. The staff of experts who have and will continue to visit this area includes Dr. Charles N. Madsen, director of mental health, Utah State Department of Health; Dr. Gordon Johnson. Bruce Goates and Gene Cox of the University of Utah medical school. |
