Show ENOCH-MIDVALLEY NEWS NOTES. By Cora Muria Kent anderson and family have moved to Enoch from Pro-vo, Pro-vo, where he has been studying study-ing at B Y U. He plans to at tend C S U at Cedar City for the remainder of the school year. Miss Barbara Grlmshaw, who is attending B Y U, is home for the holidays. She is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hunter Grlmshaw. Grlm-shaw. Mr. and Mrs. Wlllard W. Jones received a letter from their son Franklin, who is stationed with the U. S. armed forces In Germany, Ger-many, stating that he had attended at-tended an L D S conference In Nurenberg. Many U. S. servicemen service-men were in attendance, he stat-ed. stat-ed. Mrs. Emma Anderson has returned re-turned to her home In Clearfield after spending six weeks here with her son Roland and family. Miss Carol Grlmshaw entertained enter-tained about 20 of her friends Sunday on her sixth birthday. She Is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Grlmshaw. Dolph Grlmshaw Is working for the Southern Utah Power Company In Kanab and expects to be there most of the winter. Howard Ward of Parowan, And Elwln Armstrong of Enoch were sneakers at Sacrament meeting Sunday. The Seventies of the Ward entertained en-tertained the Elders and Ward Bishopric at a dinner last Wednesday Wed-nesday evening, The Elders won the last contest between the two quorums by doing more temple work over a specified period of time. Some of the Relief Society wo. men of the Enoch Ward attended attend-ed the social at the Cedar Stake House given by that Stake Tuesday Tues-day evening. The Vall?y Farm Women's Club enjoyed an evening of entertainment en-tertainment and a dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter K. Granger last Thursday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Mathews are home for the holidays. Paul Is attending Utah State Agricultural Agricul-tural College ill Lug ail. Miss Emma Nlelson gave a demonstration at the home of Hilda Grlmshaw Friday. There was a large group of women who took advantage of it. Bob Munson'a Sunday School class enjoyed a party last Friday Fri-day night Bob took them Into the show after which they went to his home where they enjoyed j a luncheon. I Mr. and Mrs. Ivor Jones and Bishop and Mrs. Stanford Jones visited In Summit Sunday evening eve-ning with their brothers and sisters sis-ters at the home of Delynn Chamberlain. |
