Show Junior Hi Christmas Giving Program Gains in Popularity A tradition that is becoming well established in the Cedar City Junior High School over the past dozen years is the plan of Christmas giving rather than receiving. The student body council arranges ar-ranges Christmas Chest boxes which are placed In each home room for the students to deposit depos-it their pennies and nickels, which are used for the gifts. This year the council decided to use the money for the relief of Hungarian Jr. High students to help where most needed. The Junior High students sacrifice sac-rifice their own Interchange of presents in favor of this plan. They plan one big party for all the students the expenses for which are taken out of the stu-dentbody stu-dentbody fund. This plan of Christmas activity activi-ty Is receiving almost 100 percent per-cent support by students and parents. |
