Show I CEDAR CITY SOCIAL SWING By Nolo Xupfer Mrs. M. L. Christensen entertained enter-tained the HH club members at her home on Thursday evening. Program ch!nuan, Mrs. Nelson Marsden, Introduced Mrs. Demar Bowman who presented a most Interesting evening relating the highlights of her Hawaiian vacation. vaca-tion. Following the program hour, the ladies visited while light refreshments were served by the hostess. Visiting last week in Tooele was Mrs. Therol McArthur. Also enjoying the trip to the home of the Fred Warburtons. were the McArthur children. The family enjoyed visiting with relatives in Salt Lake City before returning to Cedar City. Miss Sharol McArthur Mc-Arthur completed a two week stay as she joined the others for the return trip. A month in Toledo, Ohio, recently re-cently ended for Mrs. Grant Tay lor and children John, Jay Lynn, and Judy. As guests of Mrs. Taylor's Tay-lor's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Feltu.s, the children found sight-seeing sight-seeing Interesting while Mrs. Taylor renewed acquaintances-and acquaintances-and enjoyed old friends. The-foursome The-foursome returned home on Saturday. Sa-turday. Neighborhood friends of Mr. and Mrs. C. Leland Dalley and family honored them on Wednesday Wed-nesday at a going away get-together. Acting as co-hostess with Mrs. Herman Anderson, at whose home the social was held, was Mrs. Eldon Schmutz, The eleven families enjoyed a delicious luncheon after which the children child-ren played games while their parents visited. Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Miles, friends of the guests of honor were invited to the special spec-ial evening. Mr. and Mrs. Dalley Dal-ley and son Wesley have purchased purch-ased a home In St. George where they plan to reside. They are at present making a temporary home in Summit. |
