Show flEVS NOTES FROM SUMMIT By Hulda Ptterion Mrs. Boyd Lawrence and her daughter, Cindy Kay, and sons Jerry and Craig of San Diego, Calif., are here visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wllford Lawrence.' Mrs. Leona Smith attended a golden wedding reception for Mr. and Mrs. Parley Fisher in Mil-ford Mil-ford last week. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Green of Page, Ariz, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Dalley and the Lester Les-ter Dalley family. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Davenport attended at-tended a Se.vy family reunion in Red Canyon last week. Alma Lawrence made a business busi-ness trip to San Diego, Calif., during the week end. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Fisher, Mrs. Leona SmKh and Mrs. Ethel Palmer, were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Smith recently. Wesley Dalley of Cedar City is visiting with his grandfather, Charles Dalley, who recently returned re-turned from Ogden where he hud been staying with his daughter, Mrs. Marcella Mitchell, and family-Rex Lawrence, who has employment em-ployment in the parks, visited with his folks here during the week. Miss Rolaine Walker spent part of last wek in Cedar City visiting visit-ing with her friend, Kathy Bet-enson. Bet-enson. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Benson and children and John Farrow are visiting In Yellowstone National Na-tional Park this week. They plan also to visit with Douglas Farrow Far-row in Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Stapley and baby are visiting with their, parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Stapley Stap-ley of Summit and Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Stephenson in Cedar City. Mrs. Emma Fife left for Salt Lake City Friday to attend a wedding. Mr. and Mrs. B. L. Mathews and Mr. Mathew'g sister and her son Standford, and daughter, Larue, La-rue, spent Thursday here with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Carlyle Hulet. Mr. and Mrs. Nelsen Madsen were at Milford with their son and daughtei-in law, Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Smith. Their grandson, grand-son, George Smith, returned with them for a visit. The Summit MIA road show was- Judged as winner of first place In'the Parowan Stake show. Rudger and Dick Fife spent the week end at home from Tropic, where they are working. Mrs. E"elyn Adams of Salt Lake City, Is here spending some time with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Farrow and family. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Prince and two daughters of Cedar City visited vis-ited with Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Dalley Saturday, Mr. and Mrs. John Washburn, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Washburn and their children of Downey Calif., are visiting here' with Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Humpherys. Mrs. Annie Kimber, grandmother, grandmo-ther, and Irene Kimber, aunt of Mrs. Ted Fife, are here from Provo for a visit with the Fifes. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Fife spent the week end at Pleasant Grove where they attended a wedding reception for their niece, Marcia Ann Chlpman and Raymon Smith. I |
