Show Sixth Ward Junior Softball Team Enters Tournament The Cedar Sixth Ward Junior M-Men softball fem. champions of Cedar Stake, will participate In the Division Two Tournament in St. George this week end. The Cedar City team was to have played its opening game today, Thursday, but drew a bye when the Moapa Stake failed to place a team in the tournament. They will play their first tourney game Friday at 8 p. m. against the winner of the Zlon Park and Uvada Stake game today. The team is managed by Gerald Ger-ald Stoker and Is composed of the following players: Mike Hu-let Hu-let Klrt Weaver, Kenneth Mun-ford. Mun-ford. Brent Crlpps, Sam Chamberlain, Cham-berlain, Hans Chamberlain, Kimball Kim-ball Weaver, Royal Blake, Don Seegmlller, Robert LeFevre, Richard Rich-ard Morris and Vernon Spencer. One member of te quad, Wll-lard Wll-lard Wood, suffered a severe arm fiaCtuiv raily tills wcrk Mint could not participate. Wood was the leading hitter of the squad and his absence will be felt by the team. |
