Show NEW HARMONY NEWS Br Mildred Tullis The Primary Dance held Saturday Sat-urday evening was a success financially fi-nancially and socially. Many people from the surrouding areas enjoyed the dance with us. A group of Relief Society members, mem-bers, and some of their husbands, hus-bands, attended the Shakespeare Festival in Cedar City Friday evening. Jerome Tullis and daughters Kay and Laurel of Salt Lake City, were In town Saturday and Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Truman Blake, former residents of Newcastle, were out for the dance Saturday. They were accompanied by Bishop Bish-op and Mrs. Ted Cox of Cedar City. A family gathering In honor of Mrs. Amy Knell on her 78th birthday was held Sunday afternoon after-noon of last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Forsyth. Mrs. Knell is now In St. George where she plans to visit for a few wcks with her sister, Mrs. Eva Higbee. Mrs. Leo Knell and children spent a few days in Leeds at the home of Mr. and Mrs. David Stirling. Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Chrlsten-sen Chrlsten-sen are attending a Soil Conservation Con-servation convention in St. Louis, Mo. Mrs. Nellie Hart went to Carlsbad, Carls-bad, N. M. to help her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Lloyd move to their new location lo-cation in Arizona. The Lloyds have a new baby boy. |
