Show Dance Club Invites General Public To Remaining Dances Wanda Thompson, chairman of the 20-40 Dance Club, sponsored spon-sored by the Cedar City Jaycee-Ettes, Jaycee-Ettes, announced this week that the remaining four dances of the club for the current season will be opened to the public. Previously Previ-ously attendance at the dances has been on a membership basis ba-sis only. The February dance will be held Saturday evening, Feb. 9, at 9:30 at the College of Southern South-ern Utah ballroom and will be the first of the dances to be opened to the public, Mrs. Thompson said. Admission to non mtmbers of the 20-40 Dancing Club, will be $1.50 per couple and tickets can be purchased at the door on the night of the dance. Remaining dances are Feb. 9. Sweethearts"; March 9, "Dungaree "Dun-garee Doll," a gingham and leans affair; April 13, "April Showers," and May 11, "Sugar Foot Rag," a socks spree. Orchestra for Saturday night's j dance will be San Mitchell's Starliters and they have alternated alter-nated with the Heywood "Rhv-thm "Rhv-thm Makers" throughout the season. Holders of memberships. Mrs. Thompson explained, will be admitted ad-mitted on their cards as usual. |
