This has resulted In an increase in the quota to be raised rais-ed in Iron County he says. The 1957 quota has been set at $3350 as compared to $2960 in 1956, and plans are being made for an intensive fund raising campaign to reach this quota, Mr. Hirschi states. McRav Cloward. member of the College of Southern Utah faculty and prominent local civic worker, work-er, has been named as county campaign chairman. He is now busy organizing his committees and community chairmen in preparation pre-paration for the opening of the fund campaign on March 1st De-tailed De-tailed plans for the campaign will be announced before the end of the month, Mr. Cloward says. At the recent annual meeting meet-ing of the Iron County Chapter Mr. Hlrschl was re-elected chap-; chap-; ter chairman, with M. A. Cowley ! named as vice chairman. Brown-' Brown-' lng Piatt was named as a director direc-tor to succeed Grant Seaman, whose term had expired, and Howard Wood was also named to the board to succeed John Warner War-ner resigned because of conflicting conflict-ing responsibilities. Reed Bradshaw has been named nam-ed Home Service chairman, to succeed Mrs. Arthur Gardner, who has moved to St. George for the prsent. Dale Nelson will succeed Sam Gentry as blood procurement chairman. Tony Lambert will continue as disaster chairman, Mrs. Heber Holyoak and Mrs. A. C. Hatch as Home Nursing chairmen. |
