Show Junior High School Attempts New Yearbook Plan A rather unique experiment in yearbook production is going forward this year at the Cedar City Junior High School In con-Junction con-Junction with three Cedar City business firms. In past years the Junior High has done considerable work on the yearbook and engaged the Yearbook House in the East to do the finishing work. i 1 ,..iu .M....a ... ivkFUI effort and desire to "shop at home" the new idea has arisen. The whole project will be done In Cedar City by Cedar City people peo-ple and students at the school. The central committee will consist of Homer Jones, Klien Rollo and York Jones from the community and the Cedar City student council and photography class from the school. Rex Hulet of the Junior high faculty, is student council advisor with Miss Cynthia Williams, president, presi-dent, and C. L. Chatterley of the faculty in charge of the photography group, a craft of the industrial arts proCTam. The project Is already underway under-way with about 25 people working work-ing on photography, printing, writing and assembling. It has been the tradition of the Junior High School In past years to give a yearbook to each of the graduating class as a remembrance re-membrance from the school. This Is done at the school's closing exercises. Pictures and activities of the seventh, eighth and ninth grades re included In the "Book of Memories" but th seventh and elehth grades abide the day when they become ninth irraders to get their treasured book. |
