Show i Jfo Comment , i WASHINGTON Secretary of the Treasury George M. Humphrey has charted a course for businessmen for conservatives con-servatives in Congress and in the Administration, for rank-and-file taxpayers to follow during a period of world peril. In brief, it is that there should be remitting pressure for keeping down government costs so that there can be a badly needed reduction of federal taxes. There has been speculation as to whether he would submit his resignation a speculation apparently ap-parently having no basis In fact. He believes the Administration has a record of gratlfyine achievement "in the economical and efficient manaprment" of the affairs of government hu he believes that a letter Job can be done. Fpe'fl surfrestions of Mr. Humphrey Include: 1. Full cooperation of the public pub-lic In limiting demands on the government for spending; 2. Support of Congress to this end; I 3.
