Show HAPPENINGS IN THE ESCALANTE VALLEY Mrs. Georgia Moyle MIRIAM McGARRY PRESENTS STUDENTS IN PIANO RECITAL Miriam McGarry presented her students of piano to residents ol the Escalante Valley in a recital Thursday evening, May 28. Presented were the following students: Lynette Laub, Mike Gardner, Nolan Gardner, Nancy Gardner, Ronnie Gardner, Eddie Gardner. Joan Bracken, Jimmy Butler, Patsy Bracken, Kent Holt, Rickle Burgess, Janet Laub, Gaylen Hunt, Marie Hunt, Johnny Butler, and Marlene Jolley. But-ler. T-BONESS 4-H CLUB The T-Boners of Beryl held their first meeting on May 14 at the Community building. The members will study a course on beef under the leadership of Gene Butler. The officers of the club are president, Johnny Butler; vice president, Carol Hunt; secretary and reporter, Rosalind Clark. Other club members are Patrice Holt, Spencer Moyle, Terrol Hunt and John Taylor. County Agent Wallace SJoblom helped to outline out-line the program for the members mem-bers who are looking forward to an outstanding season. GRADUATION A group of students from the Valley enjoyed the very Impressive Impres-sive high school graduation exercises ex-ercises held at the Enterprise Ward Chapel Friday evening, May 19. Graduate Darleen Banks of the Valley gave the Class of '64 prophecy. She is a daughtter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Banks. Allen Hunt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray V. Hunt, graduated from high school at Cedar City. |
